Party Animals

I love a good party, went to one just yesterday, but too much of good thing… Well, you know. So I didn’t stay long, had dinner plans with the family. Afterward, turned on the news to catch up and what do I see? People who’ve been at the party for waaay too long! They’re stinking drunk on political propaganda and have lost their senses. Every time I hear our National Anthem I get goose bumps, but on July 4th when I hear it, I cry. I hide it well but if anyone looks at me they’ll know. That’ll happen this July 4th too yet as I prepare to celebrate this Independence Day I am more exasperated than ever at the state of our politics. The coordinated passionate expression is admirable, I didn’t think they had it in them, but what of the demand?  Continue Reading…

Three words…

January 2, 2018 — Leave a comment

Just three words are the answer to these three questions we ask ourselves most:

  1. Why am I here?
  2. What is the meaning of life?
  3. How can I find true happiness?

No matter your gender, race, religion or social class, all you need to do is, “Love one another.”
